Summer Reading

Our books for summer reading are, The Giver, Gathering Blue, and The Messenger all by Lois Lowry. We will meet Wednesday, August 8 at 11:30 at my house (636 Autumn Ct) then head to Babes Bakery in IF.

June 2012 Book Club

On Wednesday, June 6 @ 11:30 AM we will discuss

Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery by Eric Metexas

We will meet at Lindsey's home (450 Terra Vista) 11:30 AM

Rachel H and Hilary will provide lunch

Stephanie will present the books.

Who We Are:

We like to read and love getting together to visit, so in April 2010 a bunch of friends came over for our first official monthly book club lunch. We had prepared by reading The Help and were ready to eat lunch and talk! Every month since we gather, talk, eat, talk, pick a new book to read, and talk. Sometimes we even discuss the book!

How we work it:

Once a month we go to someone's home, two other women provide lunch, and someone else brings 3 books to present for us to vote on as our next month's read. These jobs rotate through all of us and comes out in the end evenly spread (hopefully).
