In December we read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The info for January's book is found below:
We had a great time at
Becky's on Tuesday. Thanks to everyone who came and we missed those who
couldn't make it! The book we discussed from last month was The Child Whisperer
by Carol Tuttle, and that discussion lead to
two other books by the same author, Dressing Your Truth and It's Just My
Nature. Wanted to get those titles in here for those of us that were
interested!
Sarah presented us with the books and here they
are:
Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman
Ladies Auxiliary by Tova Mirvis
Caleb's Crossing by Geraldine Brooks
Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys (NOT Shades of Grey. . . PLEASE!!)
The one we chose to read this month is
The History of Love by Nicole Krauss.
I don't have a
host or lunch ladies for next month so anyone that's interested let me know! I
believe Hilary will be presenting books to us. I am going to be out of town on
the first Tuesday, March 5, but am totally fine missing it. Of course I would
love not to miss it! How does the second Tuesday work for everyone in March?
That would be March 12. Let me know! If it works for every one's schedules then
wonderful, but if not we'll keep it the first Tuesday. No
problemo!
